Insight on Hong Kong’s Climate Action Plan 2050 which identifies ‘Energy Saving and Green Buildings’ as one the four main strategies to meet city-wide decarbonization targets
How façades play a key role in defining the energy demand of buildings, and thus reducing the demand via high performing envelopes is one of the best measures to achieving long-term energy savings
Given that a significant portion of today’s existing building stock will still be in use in 2050, how retrofit projects have a critical key role to play in decarbonising Hong Kong
How can we build onto the existing (and recently launched!) Hong Kong Green Building Council Retrofit Guide to cater for envelope retrofit strategies?
